This is one of my OCs (and favorite characters) from my 'Confederate Chronicles Trilogy' and 'Tales from the Fringe' series, Sillek. I did the lineart and my friend Esoteric did the coloring and the background.

Occupation: Forward Weapons operator, ace gunman and swordsman, mercenary

Sillek was discovered as an indentured servant under a Quarren Businessman, Superintendant Tels, by General Sev'rance Tann, a Chiss General for the Seperatists. He was trained in sword arts by her and made a field commander until her death, when Dooku stepped in and took the gifted young swordsman by his side, taught him to feed off of the rage of his mentor's death, and further trained him in the art of swords to become the Confederacy's Shadow Assassin. He served loyally, even having worked with the fearsome General Grievous at times, but because of betrayal by his comrades, he left the Seperatists shortly before the end of the Clone Wars and escaped into the shadows of the galaxy.

By the time of the Original Trilogy, now in his fifties, Sillek serves as unofficial chief of security and forward weapons operator on the modified Consular-class cruiser, 'the Nova Hound', belonging to the people with whom he now works, Marikk's Mercs, and is also a close friend and a mentor in his own right to the Mercs leader, the Duros Captain Marikk Danar. No one, not even Marikk, yet knows of the bloody days that lie in his past, and if he had his druthers, he would have it stay that way
