Number Five in the XVIII Concepts series: the ever-loving jokester and conman, Tinc

Hailing from the tree cities of the tropical world of Dendrobia, Tinc, a 27-year-old amphibious Dendrobian, has been wondering the galaxy since his teens, grifting the dimwitted, living the high life of fine drinks and women of all kinds and generally partying every day of his life. However, a run in with a hitman from a disgruntled con on Montalvo convinced him that perhaps he shoud lead a slightly more quiet life... at least until things died down.

Getting a position with Delmar Spacetronics Industries as a delivery jockey, partnered with a Highling by the name of Dander Metrian, transporting ships fresh off the assembly line to dealerships across the galaxy. For nearly three years, Tinc and Dander travelled together across the stars and slowly grew to be close compatriots, often taking unorthodox routes around dangerous obstables to test their piloting abilities and slowly learning more about each other. One thing Tinc learned of his Highling associate was that, for the past five years, he had been saving up as much as he could so that, one day soon, he could afford to buy a ship of his own, leave Delmar, find a crew and start his own enterprise. While the Dendrobian called the idea 'mercenary'-like, Dander prefered the phrase 'swashbucklers-for-hire', though either way Tinc approved of the idea and agreed to join in the adventure.

After two years of employment with Delmar, Tinc left the company as soon as Dander could afford to buy his Muk'tar-class transport and became the first employee of 'Starburst Enterprises', serving as both fighter and pilot. The jokester of the crew, he always enjoys pranking the other members of the crew, much to their annoyance. Besides being a skilled pilot, Tinc can also handle his own in a fight with his trusty slugthrower pistol but, like all Dendrobians, can also spit a neurotoxic spray which effects its victims up to twelve hours.

Tinc also keeps a pet Dendrobian tree slug aboard which he named Eupu. Reprix often complains about the slime trail Eupu often leaves over his equipment as the slug seeks out the heat from the engines on the generally cold ship.
